Intercultural Dialogue Institute in collaboration with Muslim-Catholic Student Dialogue organized a Noah’s Pudding Event at Newman Centre at University of Toronto. The event was supported by Office of Ecumenical & Interfaith Affairs at Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto and Canadian Council of Imams.

Students had a chance to have some multi-cultural interfaith conversation while walking in the campus. They reflected on stories in Christianity and Islam about Noah, and on how these stories can inspire social action today.

We dream a ship. On this ship, people of the globe live in harmony with one another, respecting different cultures and faith traditions, while preserving their own identities. On this ship, world citizens come together based on common values and global spirituality. Instead of education for war, there is education for peace. This is our ship. This is Noah’s Ark. This is our hope.
