On January 27th, 2014, Intercultural Dialogue Institute celebrated the Grand Opening of its headquarters in a new downtown location at 481 University Avenue. It was a special day for the institute and its GTA chapter – IDI GTA.  A number of dignitaries including Hon. Michael Coteau, Ontario Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, community leaders, friends and supporters of IDI attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the event.  Minister Coteau made a keynote address commending the work of the institute. Prof. Reid Locklin, Advisory Board member of IDI GTA spoke on behalf of the institute. Rogers TV was the official media partner of the IDI Grand Opening.
