A Jewish, Christian and Islamic Response

Learn and share with outstanding scholars about best practices and lessons learned. Each speaker will discuss how the front line work of their faith community incorporates and represents their values and beliefs. We will share our experiences, issues we face, and how we can learn from each other.

Speakers:

Aaron Rotenberg

Multidisciplinary artist and community builder, Aaron serves as the Spiritual Leader of Annex Shul and was named as one of the 24 Jews Who Are Changing the World by the Canadian Jewish News in 2015.

Julia de Boer

Julia de Boer is pursuing a PhD in philosophy at the Institute for Christian Studies, and is the Latin teacher at a local Classical elementary school.

Kofi Achampong

A lawyer and political adviser by profession, Kofi is a co-organizer of the Black Muslim Initiative, a grassroots advocacy organisation that focuses on issues at the intersection of anti-black racism and Islamophobia.
