Volunteers of IDI GTA and members of Community Share Foodbank have come together for a wonderful occasion on September 28th, 2013. People from many different cultures shared the same table for dinner and broke bread together. Speeches on behalf of the Food Bank and IDI GTA were followed by a delicious dinner and entertainment. Live Music, Turkish Coffee and Noah’s Pudding were the highlights of the night. Two people won a deck of More Than One Story card game at the prize draw. And one lucky person from the audience won a decorative Turkish Coffee set. Bill Hullah, director of Food Bank presented a very meaningful to IDI GTA; Circle of Friends Inukshuk piece made of glass. Also, Betul, one of our little volunteers gave the money she collected for poor people to Bill Hullah. All enjoyed the mini Baglama and Piano concerts at the end of the night.
