Congregation of Parkwoods United Church have shown a wonderful hospitality while hosting their Muslim neighbours at their church for Ramadan Iftar (fast-breaking) Dinner on August 10, 2011. Members of the Turkish Community in the Neighbourhood brought their food to the church to break bread together with their Christian neighbours. Over 80 people attended the dinner and enjoyed new friendships. IDI Toronto thanks Parkwoods United Church for opening their doors and hearts to their neighbors.
