On October 20th, 2013 IDI GTA visited St. James United Church to share the famous Noah’s Pudding with the church members and give a talk on interfaith dialogue. One of the IDI volunteers shared the story of the Noah’s Pudding and its interfaith message with the gathered audience. He also engaged in an interactive talk with children in the audience. Rev. Coral Prebble, Minister of St. James United Church warmly welcome the members of the institute in the spirit of true hospitality. She highly praised the efforts of IDI GTA in promoting interfaith dialogue and understanding. In particular, she commended the teachings of Fethullah Gulen, a world renowned scholar, on the ideas of love, compassion and acceptance which inspire the institute.

The delicious Noah’s Pudding was shared during the tea time providing an opporunity for cordial conversations between the members of St. James United Church and IDI GTA. The visit was concluded by a 15 min talk titled “Interfaith Dialogue and Best Practices of IDI GTA”. This thought-provoking presentation was offered by Vusal Babashov, Director of Education Programs at IDI GTA. It was well attended by the audience resulting in engaging questions and comments which followed the presentation.
