This workshop will trace the history of sexual harassment with such milestone events as the Anita Hill and Judge Thomas Senate Hearings. It will examine the ups and downs in combating the mindset which leads to sexual harassment and offers practical tools to minimize, if not prevent entirely, sexual harassment in the workplace. Managers will be able to curtail time spent in fighting fires and focus on their core responsibility of delivering the goals and missions of their organizations.

While familiarization with the concept of ADR generally takes from 3 days to one week, this half day workshop will give participants a crash course in the theories and practices associated with ADR. Participants will learn the history, progress and current status of ADR. They will explore techniques to ensure best possible resolution of any conflict under the given circumstances. The workshop will teach how avoid a conflict situation from escalating to confrontation which can only lead to lose-lose outcome.
